Fundación Sembrar is a non-profit Ecuadorian organization founded in Quito in 1998. Since 2006, they have been working in marginalized urban neighborhoods in the Noroccidente de Quito (Pisulí-La Roldós), offering their services to children, youth, and their families. They receive support from the Sostegno A Distanza (sponsorship program) of the Italian NGO AVSI and other private resources.

Their mission is to promote development in families and their members so that, aware of their value and dignity, they can face reality and be protagonists of their own change and that of the community. They value the dignity of every person, accompany them in their particular history, educate them based on their experience, and emphasize the participation of families, communities, employees, donors, and allies in achieving the common good. Fundación Sembrar aims to be part of an inclusive Ecuador where families and each of their members have the opportunity to generate their own growth.

They have a team of 23 collaborators, most of whom are residents of the communities they serve. Their programs focus on developing life skills for different stages of life, such as early childhood, families, and youth. They provide quality education, early stimulation, and parenting support for children aged 0-5, family support programs including training and financial autonomy initiatives, and socio-educational programs for school-age children and youth that promote responsibility, autonomy, and healthy use of leisure time.

Fundación Sembrar has positively impacted over 9,000 individuals in 15 years of work, and they collaborate with over 30 public and private stakeholders. They have received recognition for their good practices in social responsibility and have implemented over 40 social development projects aligned with their programs and services.
