Fundación Telmex Telcel is a prominent social initiative dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and promoting social welfare across Mexico. The foundation prioritizes education as a key driver for national improvement and has awarded over 380,000 scholarships to students in higher education. In addition to financial support, the foundation provides essential resources such as computers, internet access, and bicycles to help students overcome logistical obstacles in their educational journey.
Programs like Ayúdame a Llegar ensure that children who live far from schools can access transportation. Fundación Telmex Telcel also organizes significant events, including the annual México Siglo XXI, which connects students with influential figures to foster their personal and academic growth. Their services extend beyond education, encompassing health initiatives like providing hearing aids and wheelchairs, as well as community support activities in sports and disaster relief.
