Fundación Viví is a community-focused organization based in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Its mission is to mobilize resources, people, and knowledge so communities do not have to face challenges alone. Working with local partners and volunteers, the foundation responds to immediate needs while supporting long-term resilience, stronger community ties, and practical skills.
Its programs include free health fairs offering medical consultations, tests, mammograms, and nutrition guidance; student scholarships recognizing leadership and academic or athletic achievement; and blood drives organized with Banco de Sangre de Servicios Mutuos, Inc. The foundation also coordinates rapid support during crises, provides educational sessions on nutrition, household finances, and self-care, and connects people through a volunteer network. With medical guidance from internist Dr. Marie Muntaner, it can help community members find appropriate health assistance.
Fundación Viví has supported families affected by earthquakes and Hurricane Fiona, distributed essential supplies, and organized school and health initiatives. Guided by solidarity, resilience, service, and community, it welcomes volunteers, donors, and partner organizations seeking to contribute to Utuado and Puerto Rico.
