Fundacja Bielik is a Szczecin-based foundation that connects history, cultural heritage, environmental awareness and education through practical, community-focused projects. Established in 2007, it works with local governments, museums, schools and nonprofit organizations to create educational activities, public events, campaigns and publications, particularly promoting the heritage of Western Pomerania.
Its programs include living history lessons for school groups, historical reenactments, heritage walks, workshops and educational events exploring people, places, traditional crafts and regional customs. The foundation also offers creative activities such as medieval calligraphy workshops and culinary and herb-based workshops. Through its Zero Marnowania project, it encourages waste reduction and more thoughtful use of resources at home, school and work. Nasze Tradycje presents historic crafts, traditional cuisine and cultural knowledge in accessible formats, while other projects promote events such as the Battle of Grunwald and the preservation and accessibility of the Cistercian Abbey in Kołbacz.
