Fundacja La Cinta is a Polish charitable foundation created by women with experience of cancer and disability. Its mission is to help people affected by cancer, along with their families, feel less alone and regain a sense of balance, confidence and joy in life. The foundation offers support and advice across different areas of daily life, and runs projects focused on health, social inclusion, personal development and participation.
Its initiatives include projects supported by PFRON, such as “Siła możliwości,” as well as creative and community activities under the “Czas na Życie” and “Czas na Poruszenie” banners. The foundation also shares its work through publications, photo galleries, reports, articles and media appearances. Recognising that cancer affects loved ones as well as patients, it creates space for their experiences to be heard.
La Cinta welcomes collaboration with companies and entrepreneurs through charitable activities and corporate social responsibility partnerships. Individuals can support its work through donations and Poland’s 1. 5% tax allocation
