About Fundacja Polekont
Polekont – The Essence of Attachment is a foundation dedicated to supporting parents and families at every stage, from preparing for childbirth and welcoming a baby to raising children, education, and adolescence. Guided by the idea that raising a child takes a village, the organization works to build a welcoming network of support for parents in its community.
Its services include parent clubs at several locations, childbirth preparation classes, workshops, meetings, and coaching. Topics range from breastfeeding, babywearing, nutrition, and parenting skills to creative activities and family emotions. The foundation also offers events, a lending service, and resources such as e-books, a podcast, articles, and reading recommendations. Its materials address subjects including breastfeeding and children’s transition to preschool.
Polekont’s work extends beyond early parenthood, with activities focused on children’s development, relationships, and the challenges families face as children grow. The foundation also provides information for people interested in becoming doulas.
