Fundacja Synergia

Fundacja Synergia is a nonprofit foundation based in Opole, Poland, focused on supporting people at risk of social exclusion, particularly people with disabilities. Founded in 2007, the organization works to promote inclusion, wellbeing and opportunities for its beneficiaries. Its activities include vocational, legal and psychological counseling, as well as rehabilitation support for people with disabilities. The foundation also develops research, information and publishing initiatives to build and share knowledge about healthcare and social integration. For young people with disabilities, it offers training and scholarship programs intended to support their education and development.

Synergia’s work is shaped by collaboration among its team, beneficiaries and volunteers. The foundation describes a group of ten people with disabilities and ten volunteers who take part in activities together, drawing on skills and experience that include nursing and psychology. Over the years, its workshops have addressed communication, self-presentation, assertiveness, conflict resolution and expressing emotions. The foundation reports having supported more than 200 beneficiaries. It welcomes volunteers and donations to help sustain its work.
