Fundalurp

Fundalurp is a Chilean foundation supporting people with visual disabilities through rehabilitation, guide dogs, and employment inclusion. Since 2008, it has accompanied people seeking greater autonomy, providing its services free of charge to those who need them. The foundation operates Chile’s first and only guide dog school, matching guide dog teams at no cost; it reports having delivered more than 14 teams. Its rehabilitation program offers training in cane use, Braille, accessible technology, and emotional support, alongside practical tools and applications for daily life.

Through INLAB, Fundalurp connects people with visual disabilities to employers and supports companies seeking to build inclusive workplaces and address Chile’s Law 21.015. For organizations, it also provides T-DIS® talks, workshops, and immersive experiences designed to foster understanding of disability and inclusion. The foundation brings its community together through events, educational activities, and Cuentos Invisibles, a literary collection available free in EPUB, PDF, and audio formats. Donations, volunteers, puppy-raising homes, and partner organizations help sustain these programs and expand access to autonomy and participation.
