Fundatia Comunitara Banatul Montan este o organizație independentă, apolitică, transparentă și sustenabilă ce vine în întâmpinarea nevoilor comunității din zona Banatului Montan. Obiectivul FCBM este acela de a mobiliza resurse din interiorul comunității pentru a susține cauze care răspund nevoilor identificate și care pot produce schimbări pozitive pentru comunitatea locală. Ne concentrăm în principal pe procesul identificării și dezvoltării mecanismelor de finanțare și acțiuni pe termen lung de grant-making.

About Fundatia Comunitara Banatul Montan
Fundația Comunitară Banatul Montan is an independent, apolitical, transparent, and sustainable organization that caters to the needs of the community in the Banatul Montan area. Their main objective is to mobilize community resources to support causes that address identified needs and bring about positive change for the local community. They primarily focus on the process of identifying and developing long-term grant-making funding mechanisms and actions.
In addition to these initiatives, the foundation offers a range of products and services. They have projects like Științescu Banatul Montan that fund educational projects in the fields of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). They also provide optimal medical services for newborns, renovate neonatology sections, and make equipment acquisitions.
The foundation is actively involved in civic activism and organizes campaigns for selective waste collection and municipal cleanliness. The story of Fundația Comunitară Banatul Montan began in Reșița in 2018 with a group of 30 individuals from various backgrounds who shared a common concern for the local community. They worked tirelessly for a year and a half to raise the necessary funds to establish the foundation.
In 2019, more young people joined their cause, and by the end of the year, they successfully met the legal requirements and received the official confirmation for the foundation's establishment. Fundația Comunitară Banatul Montan is proud of its achievements and is determined to continue making a positive impact in the community
