Fundesur Honduras is a brand dedicated to improving the quality of life in rural communities along the southern coast of Honduras. In collaboration with Ferretería Herco and Cemento Argos Honduras, Fundesur has developed a program for the responsible management of waste tires. They collect used tires and utilize a technique called coprocessing in cement production to avoid mosquito breeding grounds and hazardous waste.
