Funding Roster is a funding-source directory and research shop built to help individuals and organizations find, assess, and pursue funding opportunities. Its open database lists more than 286,000 sources, with tracked awards totaling $129. 3 billion, and includes grants, loans, sponsorships, prizes, and other funding options.

Users can search and filter by category, funding type, geography, applicant type, status, and deadline, then review source details, eligibility information, application routes, and funder links where available. The directory is refreshed regularly and includes deadline tracking; the site encourages users to verify information against official records and funder sources before applying. Funding Roster offers free access, plus paid Starter and Pro plans with higher search allowances, recommendations, research agents, and API access depending on the tier.

Its services include custom funding research, prospect lists, proposal and readiness audits, grant writing and submission support, and campaign websites for funder outreach. The company also accepts requests to add or correct directory records, helping keep its public resource useful and current
