About Fundo Amanhã
Fundo Amanhã is an independent, private nonprofit association founded by UFRGS alumni to give back to the university and strengthen its academic community. It directs resources from its endowment toward projects supporting UFRGS students, faculty, staff, and representative organizations, with a focus on education, research, and social impact. The organization reports having reached more than 3,827 people and provided over 500 forms of assistance for study and development.
Its initiatives help students access financial support, career guidance, mentoring, and professional and research opportunities. Programs include Amanhã Tech, Pertencer, Adote um Aluno, Conquistar, Career Xperience, Amanhã Agro, and entrepreneurship initiatives, alongside the Career Center and Somos Bah. The organization also offers data science training through its Bootcamp and Data Science Residency. Its work is organized around teaching, research, and university engagement with businesses and wider society. Fundo Amanhã invites donations and publishes annual and periodic reports, financial documents, and project updates, emphasizing transparency, integrity, and responsible stewardship of its resources.
