Fundraising Fox is a free, open database designed to help startups identify and research venture capital firms and investors. Its searchable directory covers 26,097 venture funds and 195,616 investors, with filters for investment stage, sector, and location. The platform also offers fund performance information, full portfolio data, profiles of people in venture, and more than 8,000 curated investor lists, helping founders build targeted fundraising research.

Users can browse the database without signing in, save investors, explore their network, and access team features. Fundraising Fox’s deal radar tracks fresh SEC Form D filings, which can reveal details about a reported raise, including amounts and named people, sometimes before a company’s announcement. The site explains that these filings are notices of securities offerings and cautions that named individuals do not necessarily identify the round’s lead investor.

Additional offerings include perks, API access, and pricing information. Overall, Fundraising Fox combines investor discovery, fund research, relationship tools, and filing-based updates in one resource for startup fundraising
