Funerals By Design

Funerals By Design is an independent Northern Beaches funeral director offering a personal, flexible alternative to formulaic and impersonal farewells. The company believes each funeral should reflect the individual being remembered, whether the gathering is traditional or contemporary, large or small, indoors or outdoors, and attended in person or virtually. Its team helps families shape meaningful ceremonies through choices such as location, music, photographs, personal objects, and favourite food and drinks, while aiming to keep arrangements transparent and affordable.

Services include direct cremation, funerals with cremation or burial, pre-planned and do-it-yourself funerals, aquamation, shrouded and green funerals, memorials, wakes, catering, venue and equipment hire, live streaming, and ash-scattering arrangements. The business also supports people planning ahead with its “Where There’s a Will There’s a Wake” book and Frog Files, which help organise end-of-life wishes and important paperwork. Funerals By Design guides families through practical decisions with care and offers options intended to make each goodbye personal, appropriate, and true to the life being celebrated.
