About Funkelfaden
Funkelfaden is a brand founded by Julia, a 34-year-old from Berlin who is passionate about DIY projects and crafts. Since 2011, Julia has been sharing her creative ideas and offering free sewing and crafting tutorials on Funkelfaden. Growing up in Berlin Kreuzberg, Julia developed a love for crafting and sewing from an early age, often using her mother's sewing machine and materials.
She even started her own fashion magazine with her best friend, showcasing their handmade clothing creations. Julia's passion for sewing eventually led her to start creating her entire wardrobe. She enjoys sharing her love for sewing with others through sewing courses and DIY workshops, including projects with refugees and social initiatives.
