Funpadem, also known as the Foundation for Peace and Democracy, is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan organization that has been working towards sustainable human development in Latin America for over 30 years. Established in 1988 in Central America and the Caribbean, their mandate expanded to encompass the entire Americas in 2002, and later became involved in global initiatives in 2009.

Funpadem designs and implements projects that have a significant impact on Latin America. Their focus areas include democratic governance, peaceful conflict resolution, security and violence prevention, justice and labor compliance, environmental governance, and education and development. They are committed to generating evidence-based solutions and facilitating multi-actor and multi-sector processes to foster positive change.
