FUOTUOKE, also known as the Federal University Otuoke, is a prestigious brand amongst the nine new Federal Universities established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in February 2011. Situated in Bayelsa State's oil-rich Niger-Delta Region, the university spans an impressive 200 hectares (494 acres) in the Ijaw town of Otuoke, just 21 kilometers south of the state capital, Yenagoa.
