Fur Angels Rescue Shelter is a dedicated nonprofit organization located in Lucas County, Ohio, committed to rescuing and rehabilitating homeless animals. Operated by a team of experienced and hardworking individuals, the shelter adheres to a no-kill policy, ensuring every animal has a chance to thrive unless medically necessary. Fur Angels’ mission focuses on providing food, shelter, and veterinary care to cats and dogs, particularly promoting spay/neuter education to combat overpopulation.

Through a foster-based program, the shelter allows animals to reside in loving homes until they are adopted into their forever families. Fur Angels also advocates for animal welfare and the importance of adopting rather than purchasing pets. Community support is crucial as they rely on donations for their operations, without any state or federal funding. Through initiatives like their Amazon and Chewy Wish List, they provide essential supplies to keep the animals healthy and happy.
