Furever Tails

Furever Tails Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), no-kill animal rescue based in Oakland Township, Michigan. Operating through a network of foster homes, the organization works to rescue, rehome, and reunite animals with the people who care for them. Its rescue efforts focus on animals at risk of euthanasia in high-kill shelters, while surrendered animals are accepted according to available foster-home capacity. The organization also helps reunite misplaced animals with their rightful owners, extending its work beyond adoption to support safe returns home.

Furever Tails offers opportunities to explore adoptable pets and apply to adopt, as well as ways for community members to help through fostering and volunteering. Its website also provides information for people who need to surrender an animal. The rescue states that it does not discriminate against any breeds and presents itself as an advocate for animals that cannot speak for themselves. Through rescue, adoption, foster care, volunteer participation, and reunification efforts, Furever Tails aims to provide practical support for animals in need.
