Furgotten

Pharaoh’s Furgotten Tails is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to funding the Kahu Shelter in Cairo, Egypt. Founded by Bahram and Shahram Razaghnia with Cairo-based partner Shireen Nassar, the organization builds on seven years of support for local rescues before establishing its own shelter in January 2023. Located in Cairo’s Orabi area, Kahu Shelter occupies a walled, staffed property of approximately five acres and can house up to 500 dogs.

The organization protects stray and abandoned dogs and cats, prioritizing lifesaving veterinary treatment and a safe environment with food and clean water. Its services include rescue, medical attention, spay and neuter procedures, and daily care and feeding. Pharaoh’s Furgotten Tails also works to reduce animal overpopulation and place animals in adoptive homes. Supporters can make one-time donations or sponsor individual pets, helping fund shelter, food, and medical care for animals awaiting homes. The organization presents featured pets and invites the public to learn more, get involved, and contribute to its work.
