FURIANT MALÁ BĚLÁ

Furiant is a folkloric dance ensemble based in Malá Bělá near Bakov nad Jizerou, dedicated to preserving and sharing old Czech customs and traditions. The group brings folk culture to life through performances and lively participation in community celebrations, balls, parties and other events, often appearing across its region. Its repertoire and activities follow the traditional calendar, including Three Kings celebrations, Shrovetide, Easter, May festivities, harvest celebrations, St.

Martin’s feasts and Advent events. Furiant also takes part in fairs, historical days at Zvířetice Castle, bonfire gatherings and live nativity scenes, and can add a traditional touch to birthdays or company parties. The ensemble organizes a range of regular and occasional events of its own, combining folk customs with convivial entertainment.

Since 2014, Furiant has performed with Osmikráska, a folk music group from Prague, and their collaboration continues at joint appearances. Through dance, music and festive traditions, Furiant offers audiences an engaging connection with Czech cultural heritage
