Futterberatung im Breisgau

Mobile Horse Weighing & Independent Feed Consulting provides practical, science-based support for horse owners in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald region. Its services are designed to help improve horses’ health and make feeding and weight-management decisions with greater confidence. The consultancy is independent and does not work directly with feed manufacturers, allowing recommendations to focus on each horse’s needs.

On-site consultations include a comprehensive review of the horse’s living conditions and current diet, followed by an individual, practical feeding plan. A ration check is available for owners who want to assess whether an otherwise healthy horse’s current diet is suitable and identify possible nutritional gaps. The business also offers mobile weighing at the horse’s location, providing a precise weight measurement to support feeding, training and health management.

Additional services include Body Condition Score assessment to interpret a horse’s condition beyond weight alone, and guidance with hay sampling and analysis. Horse owners can also borrow a GPS tracker and secure neck strap for three days to monitor movement in open or active-stable housing, in connection with a weighing visit or on-site feeding consultation.
