The Future Generation Art Prize is a prestigious biannual global contemporary art prize that aims to discover, recognize, and provide long-term support to emerging artists from around the world. Established in 2009 by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Prize has played a vital role in the artistic development and production of over 100 artists, showcasing their works at exhibitions held at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv and as official collateral events at the Venice Biennale. Open to all artists aged 35 or younger, regardless of their location or chosen medium, the Prize invites submissions from talents who display exceptional creativity and promise.

A distinguished international jury appoints an outstanding selection committee to review each application and nominate 20 artists for the short list. These artists are then commissioned to create new works that are exhibited at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv and later showcased at the esteemed Venice Biennale. The main prize winner of the Future Generation Art Prize receives a generous award of US$100,000, which is split between a $60,000 cash prize and a $40,000 investment in their practice.

In addition, up to five special prizes of US$20,000 in total are awarded to support deserving projects that further enrich artistic practices.
