Smartcabling smarthomes

Smarthome® Care, also presented as Futurehome® Care Technologies, provides integrated home technology and cabling services in New Zealand. Its focus is on helping older people and people with disabilities or health needs live longer and more independently in their own homes. The company combines security, data networks, home automation and wireless technologies, with passive, non-invasive systems designed to support health monitoring and environmental management.

Its proposed care solutions can be scaled to suit residents’ changing needs. They bring together telehealth equipment, smartwatches or pendants, smartphone apps and a home monitoring platform to share real-time information. The site also describes links with robotics, artificial intelligence, interactive interfaces, cameras and audio-visual communications, enabling residents to interact with home systems and allowing remote monitoring by health professionals.

Smarthome Care offers smart wiring and network installation for new and existing homes, including TV coaxial, telephone, data, broadband, Cat5E and Cat6 cabling. Other services include fault repairs, PABX relocation, business network relocations, home theatre speaker installation, building cabling and MDF/IDF connections.
