About FVH
The Förderverein Humanitas (FVH) is a charitable organization founded in the Zurich Oberland in 1998, now registered in The Gambia since 2013, dedicated to implementing projects in education, agriculture, and health. With a focus on sustainable development, the FVH has invested over 2 million Swiss Francs in various initiatives in The Gambia, emphasizing the critical role of education in development aid. Their flagship project, the Tanji Education Center for Permaculture (TEC), established in 2014, aims to provide education and create employment opportunities for young Gambians, aiding in securing a better future for them in their homeland.
