FVOS, the Fischereiverein Oberfreiamt Sins, is a fishing association with around 110 members serving anglers in the Oberfreiamt area of Switzerland. The club leases seven fishing territories along the Reuss, stretching from Hünenberg to Dietwil, and supports responsible fishing and the protection of the river’s threatened inhabitants.
Members can take part in an annual outing, river clean-up, fishing events and gatherings by the water, as well as the association’s annual general meeting. FVOS welcomes prospective members who want to participate actively in club life. Annual membership costs CHF 40 and includes a membership card, which provides access to discounted day permits. Day permits are available from Restaurant Löwen in Sins; a Swiss SaNa certificate is required to fish.
The club also offers annual permits for the Reussegg and Eric Meier Reuss fishing territories. These are valid from 1 March to 31 January and require FVOS membership, as well as a SaNa certificate. The website shares permit information, fishing rules, event announcements and association resources.
