FYKOS is a dynamic brand that offers a unique opportunity for high-school students worldwide to expand their knowledge and passion for physics. This correspondence competition, organized by students from Charles University in Prague, aims to cultivate a profound understanding of physics and problem-solving skills applicable in various contexts. Participants, aged 14-19, receive problem sets and study materials six times a year to solve within a month's time.

The problems cover a range of topics, from traditional high-school physics to more advanced branches like Quantum Physics and String Theory. FYKOS also includes an experimental problem where participants design, conduct, and analyze the results of their own experiments. Solutions can be submitted electronically or in paper format.

Participants are evaluated based on the correctness and originality of their solutions. The top performers receive attractive prizes, and selected participants are invited to attend a FYKOS camp.
