About FyreFem Fund Managers
FyreFem Fund Managers is a South African women-owned fund manager with a strong commitment to making a positive impact. With a focus on SMEs, FyreFem is an impact investor that aims to change the world by investing in businesses that have the potential to thrive. While FyreFem invests with a Gender Lens, their portfolio companies don't necessarily have to be women-owned, as they believe in creating women owners through their investments.
Founded in 2017, FyreFem is passionate about using capital to make a difference and values transparent and fair dealings, as well as diversity. They follow a Fix and Build strategy, where they invest in SMEs throughout their lifecycles, from young venture capital funds to distressed assets in need of revitalization. FyreFem also focuses on sectors that can restart after COVID-19, with a preference for the food and manufacturing sectors.
