FYWC

Festus Youth Wrestling Club (FYWC) is a community wrestling program for students in grades 2–8 in Festus, Missouri. It welcomes beginners and helps young athletes build wrestling skills in a positive, consistent environment. Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Festus Intermediate School.

The club teaches wrestling fundamentals while encouraging dedication, discipline, respect, and perseverance, both on and off the mat. Its age-appropriate instruction is designed to support newer wrestlers and help participants progress at every level through consistent practice. FYWC emphasizes effort and character alongside technique and conditioning, giving families a program focused on both athletic development and personal growth.

Families can find practice schedules, registration details, answers to common questions, and contact information through the club’s website. A combined calendar provides updates on tournaments, meetings, and other club dates; no additional events have been announced yet, though weekly practices appear there. FYWC also offers a Facebook group and a team store through Lemon Theory Design, and invites families to contact the club with questions about eligibility, dates, and available spots.
