fyzioterapie Michálková

Eva Michálková’s Children’s Physiotherapy Clinic in Ostrava provides individualized physiotherapy for children, from newborns through older children and young athletes. Its university-educated physiotherapists draw on extensive experience and work with paediatricians, neurologists and orthopaedists in the region. Care is tailored to each child’s age, development and needs, with an emphasis on identifying the causes of movement difficulties, supporting healthy development and preventing future problems.

Services include comprehensive assessments of posture, movement patterns, reflexes and motor development, followed by a proposed therapy plan. Treatment methods include Vojta reflex locomotion, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, medical taping and sensorimotor exercises using balance equipment. The clinic also offers functional foot assessments with a podoscope for children aged 2.5 and older, with advice on exercises and footwear. Parents can receive practical guidance on supporting infant movement, encouraging psychomotor development and choosing suitable shoes or aids. For young athletes, the team provides advice on training and recovery. The clinic aims to make care safe, supportive and engaging for children while guiding families through therapy and progress.
