Gabriela Giglio Formação offers professional education for pediatricians caring for premature and high-risk babies after hospital discharge. Created by Dr. Gabriela Giglio, a pediatrician and neonatologist who works in neonatal intensive care, newborn care, outpatient follow-up, and medical education, the program draws on clinical experience and evidence-based medicine. Its goal is to help practitioners move beyond routine well-child care and make more structured, confident decisions for patients with complex neonatal histories.

The approximately eight-hour course is organized into 10 modules covering topics such as corrected age, growth, nutrition, supplementation, neurodevelopment, vaccines, follow-up planning, medical devices, and tests related to prematurity. Participants receive 12 months of access to review the lessons, along with practical resources designed for use in clinical care. These include consultation checklists, growth-chart guidance, feeding and supplementation tools, developmental red-flag and referral guidance, vaccination information, and materials on comorbidities and medical devices. The formation is designed to support observation, investigation, intervention, and referral decisions throughout a child’s follow-up.
