Gärtnerei Hohe

Gärtnerei Hohe is a third-generation family-run nursery in Bamberg, rooted in the city’s gardening district and serving local customers with personal advice and care. Founded in 1945, the business combines a long horticultural tradition with modern cemetery gardening and environmentally conscious cultivation. The family and its team work closely with customers to meet individual wishes, including during difficult times.

Its cemetery services range from new grave design and planting to seasonal arrangements, regular maintenance, watering and advance care contracts. The nursery also coordinates with stonemasons to help create a harmonious overall appearance, and maintains model graves to demonstrate design and planting options. Appointments can be arranged at the nursery or directly at a grave site.

For gardens, balconies and terraces, Gärtnerei Hohe offers bedding and balcony plants, hanging baskets, small conifers, specimen plants and flower-box planting, as well as overwintering for balcony and terrace plants. Its ecological growing practices include a selection of bee-friendly plants.
