Gagan Design

Gagan Design is a Canadian lighting and aviation furniture design studio creating modern, minimalist pieces with a handcrafted character and a touch of nostalgia. Its collection combines materials such as brass, wood, marble, copper, glass, and aluminum, bringing clean forms together with industrial and mid-century influences. Lighting products include table lamps, desk lamps, wall sconces, pendant lights, and flexible lamps that can be adapted for different uses.

Featured designs range from the brass-and-wood Venturi lamps and marble-based Luna and Opulux table lamps to the versatile Peliclamp and the Copa copper-and-wood pendant sconce. The studio also creates aviation-inspired objects, including a clock made from an aircraft radial-engine piston and a piston-based desk lamp. Its furniture selection includes distinctive reclaimed aircraft pieces, such as a vintage pilot’s-seat chair and a desk built around a C45 Expeditor rudder.

Gagan Design presents these designs through an online catalog, alongside information about the studio, its products, and press coverage. Its work is characterized by thoughtful reuse of aviation components, practical versatility, and Canadian handcraft
