Gairloch Boat Club is a friendly, family-oriented sailing club based beside the harbour in Gairloch, Ross-shire. Operating as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, the club welcomes sailors of all experience levels, from beginners to experienced members. Its sailing season runs from April to October on Loch Gairloch, with regular sessions on Sundays and occasional mid-week sailing when conditions permit. Session times are planned around the tides, as the area near the public slipway dries out at low water. Sailing typically takes place in Flowerdale Bay and Kerry Bay.
The club’s facilities include a clubhouse with a clubroom, a small kitchen, equipment storage, and changing rooms with toilets and showers. A boat park is located beside the clubhouse, and a large public car park is nearby. Boats are launched using the public slipway across the road; smaller dinghies can generally be launched, while larger dinghies and other boats depend on favourable tides. The club also shares sailing information, calendars, membership details, governance documents, and club boat information through its website.
