GaitLine | Oslo is a brand that offers a unique walking experience through their Ignite Pro shoes. These shoes are designed with a sole foam that has a long lifespan, providing exceptional comfort and cushioning on hard surfaces. The Ignite Pro project aimed to create a lighter shoe with improved cushioning and responsiveness, while promoting positive health effects and emphasizing durability and future recyclability.
After a collaboration between GaitLine, their factory, Permafrost design studio, Pivot Product Design, and Norwegian Alpine Skier Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, they proudly present their innovation: Ignite Pro, a new sole material used in the World Cup Pro and Advance Pro shoe models. These ultra-light shoes are made from Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) and feature a steam-based production process, eliminating the need for additional chemicals and making them more environmentally friendly. The Ignite Pro shoes offer 74% more rebound, 30% longer durability, and are 30% lighter compared to previous GaitLine shoes.
