Municipalidad de Galarza

Municipalidad de Galarza is a brand that offers a range of products and services to the community. One of their recent achievements was the inauguration of the Playón Multideportivo, which took place in the cherished neighborhood of Los Corchos. Thanks to the coordination and collaboration between the national, provincial, and municipal governments, this multipurpose sports court became a reality.

It is named after Ángel Choga Rodriguez, a highly-respected member of the community who played a pivotal role in introducing basketball to the area. Choga was an educator who constantly honed his skills to provide the best training for his students. His dedication to the sport led him to travel across the province, competing in various tournaments alongside his students.

The event also recognized the remarkable career of Fernando Flores, who taught basketball at the municipal sports center for over 33 years. Together, they have contributed significantly to the development of sports in the local community. Municipalidad de Galarza continues to strive for excellence in providing essential services and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for its residents
