Galaxie Karviná

GALAXIE CENTRUM POMOCI is a nonprofit social care organization based in Karviná, Czech Republic. Established as a day centre in 1999, it has supported people with disabilities for more than 26 years, promoting dignity, social connection and the greatest possible independence. Its services include a day centre where adults with disabilities can receive support, develop skills and take part in shared activities; protected housing that helps adults with intellectual disabilities live ordinary lives with appropriate assistance; and a field-based respite service for people with disabilities and older adults.

The organization also arranges cultural outings and sports events to strengthen social ties and create an inclusive, welcoming environment. GALAXIE works to connect people and provide meaningful opportunities for participation, growth and everyday life. Its services support not only clients but also their families and close companions.
