Galaxy Tennis

Tennis Galaxy is a tennis and athletic movement program serving players and families in Apopka and Central Florida, with classes held at Northwest Recreation Complex. Its coaching approach emphasizes enjoyable physical activity, individual development, and the mental and emotional aspects of learning alongside tennis technique. Programs welcome a broad range of ages and abilities, from children trying tennis for the first time to adults and experienced competitors.

The organization offers youth after-school programs, group classes, adult clinics, private lessons, and hitting sessions. Group classes run in 12-week cycles, with prorated enrollment generally available for students joining mid-cycle. New players can book a 30-minute assessment lesson to help determine an appropriate class placement. Tennis Galaxy also supports homeschool families: it is an approved provider for Step Up for Students scholarships, which can be used for eligible classes and assessment lessons. For families who cannot otherwise afford group classes, the organization raises funds for partial and full scholarships.
