Aninat Galería | Santiago is a renowned Chilean contemporary art gallery founded by Isabel Aninat, a graduate in Philosophy and Aesthetics. Established in 1982 during the Pinochet dictatorship, the gallery was created as a platform for generating debate, critical reflection, and commercialization of contemporary art and new media in Santiago, Chile. Aninat Galería represents both established and emerging artists whose conceptual practices focus on exploring social, political, and contemporary issues.

The gallery's annual program aims to rediscover and showcase the work of lesser-known historical artists who have challenged existing paradigms. Under the guidance of directors Javiera García-Huidobro and Isabel Aninat, Aninat Galería currently operates three exhibition spaces. The main hall is a flexible 200 square meter area that extends to a 380 square meter terrace.

The Cabinet is an 8. 5-meter long space designed to showcase artist documents, unrealized projects, and references, creating a connection between the viewer and the artist's creative process. Additionally, there is a Unique Piece area, dedicated to developing and showcasing specific projects or individual artworks.

Aninat Galería also expands its reach globally through collaborations with international galleries, curators, institutions, and collectors. With a rich history in international fairs, Aninat Galería has successfully facilitated significant acquisitions by representing artists for renowned institutions.
