Galerie Française is a Munich art gallery founded by Gérard Schneider in 1980, located near the historic Odeonsplatz. It focuses on works by artists associated with the Modern École de Paris and the Nouvelle École de Paris. Its represented artists include Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Joan Miró, Hans Arp and Max Ernst, alongside Serge Poliakoff and Hans Hartung.
The gallery presents artworks for sale and hosts exhibitions, featuring works such as paintings and works on paper. In partnership with the artist’s son, Alexis Poliakoff, Schneider is authorised to prepare expert assessments of Poliakoff works in German-speaking countries. The gallery welcomes visitors in central Munich during its stated opening hours or by appointment
