Galerie Lacaux

Galerie Lacaux is an art gallery in the historic centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, presenting the work of artists Denis Lacaux and Bob Appelmans. Founded by Lacaux, the gallery offers visitors an imaginative world of colour, poetry and dreamlike themes, alongside opportunities to view and purchase original works.

Denis Lacaux, a self-taught painter, creates symbolist works with surrealist and fantastical influences, ranging from imagined places and machines to drawings and ink pieces. Selected paintings are also available as signed art prints, produced on Epson art paper with pigment inks and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Prints can be ordered through the gallery’s website and shipped internationally.

Bob Appelmans brings a background in fine arts and ceramics to his practice. His work includes stoneware and porcelain, smoke-fired clay modelling, raku and bronze sculpture, moving between figurative and abstract forms with dramatic or humorous expression. The gallery welcomes visitors and also provides contact details for enquiries.
