About Galerie-Les-Tournesolsfr
Galerie Berthéas, located in Saint-Etienne, Vichy, and Paris, specializes in free and narrative figuration, lyrical abstraction, and urban art. Since its founding in 1989, Galerie Berthéas has been dedicated to promoting the painters of the Cobra movement and abstract painting from the 1960s and 1970s. Over time, the gallery's focus shifted towards artists of the Free and Narrative Figuration movement.
In the late 1990s, the gallery played a significant role in the recognition of urban art in France. To showcase its artists, Galerie Berthéas organizes numerous exhibitions across its different spaces and participates in prominent contemporary art fairs such as Art Paris Art Fair, Art Elysées, and Lille Art Up. The gallery also publishes monographs or catalogs for each event.
With its location on Rue de Turenne in the vibrant Marais district of Paris, Galerie Berthéas continues to expand. In 2019, it opened a 1700m2 exhibition and logistics space in Saint-Etienne, establishing a strong regional presence and national influence. Drawing on their extensive experience and knowledge of the art market, Galerie Berthéas offers tailored support to both seasoned collectors and art enthusiasts in acquiring artwork and building customized collections.
