Galerie Mulheim

Galerie Mulheim is an art gallery on the Grande Plage in Biarritz, presenting the work of French artist Fabrice Mulheim to a growing international audience. Born in Auxerre in 1964, Mulheim developed from a background of classical university studies into a full-time creative practice spanning painting, sculpture and mixed-media art. His works combine layered surfaces, scraping, printed images, spontaneous juxtapositions, tags, graffiti and surreal writing. Everyday figures, imagined characters and cultural icons appear within compositions known for their offbeat irony, expressive colour and lively interplay of ideas and materials.

Inspired in part by his passion for aviation and experience as a pilot, Mulheim also works with materials such as sheet metal, steel and Plexiglas, shaping them into forms that suggest movement and continual transformation. Galerie Mulheim presents new works and featured pieces, including paintings on canvas, and invites visitors to discover the artist’s creations online or at the Biarritz gallery. Visitors can contact the gallery by phone or email for further information or to arrange a conversation with the artist.
