Since 2000, the Galerie associative Impact based in Strasbourg has been dedicated to creating high-quality exhibitions in unique locations. The association, founded by three locals, aims to disrupt visitors' habits and emotions through showcasing both emerging and established artists. With a focus on opening up contemporary art to a wide audience, Impact has organized six exhibitions from 2000 to 2011 featuring European artists.

Their newest venture is the Biennale d'art contemporain de Strasbourg, a recurring contemporary art event that will bring together internationally renowned artists and the public every two years. The theme for the upcoming edition, starting in mid-December 2018, is "Man in the Age of New Technologies." With over 20 international artists presenting nearly 50 works, this Biennale promises a playful and educational experience, staying true to Impact's mission of making contemporary art accessible to all.
