Galiano Trading

Galiano Trading Company is an independent, locally owned hardware, building supply, and general store serving Galiano Island, British Columbia, since 1977. It aims to provide island residents with useful products at good prices and will work to source items that are not in stock. Its hardware and home departments offer paint, wood stoves, water storage systems, housewares, kitchen and bath goods, cleaning and storage products, school and office supplies, toys, and pet supplies. The garden centre stocks seasonal bedding and indoor plants, as well as bird seed and birding supplies. Services include paint mixing and matching, material cutting, equipment and appliance rentals, special orders, and delivery or curbside pickup.

Galiano Trading also supports builders, contractors, and do-it-yourself customers with resources and project information. As part of the Timber Mart cooperative buying group, the company highlights local ownership and community support while helping customers plan home, garden, and building projects
