Galimatazo Editorial

Galimatazo is an independent Spanish publisher specializing in literature for children and young adults. Its carefully selected books are created to spark imagination, invite reflection and stay with readers long after the final page. The catalogue spans illustrated albums, comics, graphic novels, photobooks and narrative fiction, with titles for readers from infancy through adolescence. Themes include friendship, identity, emotions, nature, diversity, adventure and curiosity.

The publisher combines forgotten classics with new voices and works that connect cultures through translation. It prioritizes literary quality, distinctive illustration and thoughtful production, while treating young readers with respect and avoiding simplistic moral lessons. Galimatazo prints with vegetable-based inks on FSC-certified paper and works with local printers, reflecting its commitment to responsible publishing. It also emphasizes fair contracts and honest relationships across the book industry.

For families, teachers, librarians and reading facilitators, Galimatazo’s Rincón Lector offers reading guides, resources for school and library book clubs, and personalized recommendations. Readers can explore the catalogue online and receive individual assistance with their enquiries.
