Gallabrae brings Scottish heritage and Southern traditions together through the Greenville Scottish Games and a program of related cultural events. Founded in 2006, the Greenville Scottish Games has taken an innovative approach to celebrating Scottish traditions in the Greenville, South Carolina, area, where Scots-Irish heritage remains part of the region’s history and identity. The annual gathering features piping and drumming, heavy athletics, clan activities, children’s programming, and other competitions and experiences inspired by Scotland.
Its events also include the Great Scot! Parade, a Celtic Jam, a British Car Show, and a Military Salute. The 2027 Games are scheduled for Saturday, May 29, at Furman University, with gates opening at 8:30 a. m.
; the Great Scot! Parade is planned for Friday, May 28, at 6 p. m. in downtown Greenville.
Gallabrae shares event information through its website and newsletter, The Dirk, and invites visitors to explore the area, including nearby Travelers Rest. The Games celebrate community, family, clan, and the enduring spirit of Scottish culture
