Located in Seto City, Gallery Moyu is a unique ceramic gallery founded by Akiko Nomura, a prominent female potter. This historic gallery is housed in a beautifully restored 100-year-old kominka, offering a charming setting for art enthusiasts. Opened in September 2010, Gallery Moyu serves as a platform for emerging artists, showcasing the work of 14 local potters alongside Nomura's own stunning creations.
The gallery features a diverse collection of ceramics, glassware, woodworking, metal crafts, vintage items, and apparel. Visitors can engage in colorful and fun “icchin” painting experiences, allowing them to create their own unique pottery pieces. Nomura also offers an online shop where customers can purchase her artwork as well as pieces from other talented artisans.
