About Pink Iguana Bar
Galloping Galápagos offers personalized horseback riding experiences to Sierra Negra Volcano on Isabela Island in the Galápagos. Based at Casa Rosada in Puerto Villamil, beside the Pink Iguana Bar, the business provides a relaxed way to explore the island’s volcanic highlands, lava fields, caldera viewpoints, and surrounding landscapes. Rides are guided personally by Claudia Hodari, a certified Galápagos National Park naturalist guide and lifelong rider with decades of experience living and guiding on the islands.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Claudia shares information about local geology, volcanic activity, and ecosystems along the way. Guests ride calm, well-trained horses fitted with comfortable leather saddles and safety equipment; horses and riding pace are matched to each person’s experience and comfort. Private and small-group rides are available, and no previous riding experience is required.
Hotel pickup and drop-off in Puerto Villamil are included. Each outing is adapted to rider ability and trail and weather conditions, with advance booking recommended through Claudia by WhatsApp
