About Galway Bay Brewery
Galway Bay Brewery is an innovative brand that has been making waves in the Irish beer scene since its inception in 2009. What started as a frustration with the limited beer choices in Ireland soon turned into a passion project for a group of friends. They opened The Oslo Bar in Salthill, Galway, which became one of the country's only brew pubs.
Over the past decade, Galway Bay Brewery has grown and relocated to its new home in Oranmore, just outside Galway. This larger space has allowed them to expand and experiment with their brewing techniques. They offer a diverse range of beers, from their core selection of seven brews to exciting monthly releases, including fruity sours and barrel-aged creations.
Not only does Galway Bay Brewery cater to the local market, but they also export their beers to various countries, including the UK, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands. With plans to further increase production and open a tap room for small group visits, Galway Bay Brewery is continuously striving for growth and innovation.
